A. No, all Ocean Potion products are PABA free.

Q. Occasional incident of Parsol 1789-Avobenzone causing staining during the laundry process?
A. For some reason, depending on where you live, (because of the differences in the water of different regions) Avobenzone can cause a yellow discoloration on white cotton clothing. This is true for all products containing Avobenzone. According to the company that makes Avobenzone (Hoffman LaRoche), this can be an issue if you live in an area with iron in your water. The iron makes the Avobenzone turn color!

For the staining, I’m told it comes out easily with a detergent cleanser that has (“Chelating”) agents (ingredients that prevent minerals from being to the surfaces or substances) such as FAB or ALL brand.
